JSC Chepetsk Mechanical Plant is the world's largest and the only manufacturer of products from zirconium and its alloys, products from hafnium, calcium and low-temperature superconducting materials in Russia. It holds leading positions in the production of niobium, titanium and alloys based on them. It is a part of Rosatom's Fuel Company TVEL and is an industry metallurgy centre as a part of the divisional integrator Rosatom MetalTech LLC.

CMP JSC is a key enterprise in the technological chain of nuclear fuel production. It produces structural materials and components for fuel assemblies and other products for enterprises in the nuclear power industry, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering, chemical, aerospace and oil and gas industries, microelectronics and medicine. It provides zirconium rolled products to all power and transport reactors in Russia.
